Singaporeans are anticipating the 2014 World Cup. The first few days were full of surprises. Some Singaporeans were disappointed of the results but there were others who rejoiced because of the victories of their favourite teams.

  • Day 6 (June 17): On June 17, there were three matches. The first match was between Belgium and Algeria. Belgium won the match with a score of 2-1. The next match was between Brazil and Mexico. The score was 0-0. The final match was between Russia and Korea Republic. The score was 1-1.
  • Day 7 (June 18): On June 18, there were again three matches. The first match was between Australia and Netherlands. Netherlands won with a score of 3-2. The next game was between Spain and Chile. Chile won with a score of 2-0. The last game was between Cameroon and Croatia. Croatia won with a score of 4-0.

  • Day 8 (June 19): On June 19, three matches happened. The first game was between Colombia and Cote D’ Ivoire. Colombia won with a score of 2-1. Then it was between Uruguay and England. Uruguay won with a score of 2-1. The last game was between Japan and Greece. The score was 0-0.
  • Day 9 (June 20): On June 20, three matches transpired. The first game was between Italy and Costa Rica. Costa Rica won with a score of 1-0. The next game was between France and Switzerland. France won with a score of 5-2. The last game was between Ecuador and Honduras. Ecuador won with a score of 2-1.

The next game will be on June 21, 2014 at 13:00 (local time). The screening schedule here in Singapore varies depending on the time.
